About the studio

Who we are

Remote-first

No walk-in address. Suites, storage and review sessions are reached over the network.

Post only

We do not shoot. Everything we do starts when the cards come off the camera.

Kite House Studio started in 2017 as two editors sharing a storage array and taking overflow work from production companies that had shot more than they could finish. It has grown into a full pipeline — editorial, colour, sound, cleanup and delivery — run by a small permanent crew with freelancers brought in for peaks.

We work with a limited number of client teams rather than a long list of one-off jobs. Most of them come back several times a year, which is why the studio is built around a shared portal, standing storage and a delivery spec we agree once and reuse.

Because the crew and the clients are spread across several countries, the facility is remote-first by design. There is no reception and no screening room to visit; there is a pipeline that is available at whatever hour a production needs it.
